To celebrate the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the US and the Philippines, the Philippine Embassy and the US-Philippines Society will be hosting a concert to celebrate the strong historical, democratic values, and cultural linkages between the two nations as the friendship expands and deepens as it enters its eighth decade. Chiara serves as Production Manager under Aritsitc Director Maestro Marlon Chen (Music Director of the Manila Symphony) and Production Committee Head Marianne B. Hontiveros (member of the Board of Directors of the US-Philippines Society). This is a 'By Invitation Only' event.

Rachelle Gerodias is the Philippine’s premier operatic and classical soprano. Her husband Byeong In Park is an international Korean baritone based in the Philippines. Together, this renowned husband-and-wife team will perform Kundiman and other Filipino songs like never heard before in the USA to celebrate Filipino American Relations and Philippine Independence Day through the classical art songs of the Philippines. They can intersperse their various programs with favorite opera arias and classical Broadway songs to widen their audience reach as well.
